When marrying Out of Community of Property, you sign a Marriage Contract (ANC). This contract is registered at the Deeds Office where the contract was signed. You can get a copy of this Marriage Contract (ANC) delivered electronically to your email address.
Marriage Contracts are registered at the Deeds Office where the contract was signed. If you for instance sign the contract in Bellville, Cape Town, it will be regstered at the Cape Town Deeds Office. if it is signed in Northriding, Johannesburg it will be regstered at the Johannesburg Deeds Office. If it is signed in Centurion, Pretoria then it will be registered at the Pretoria Deeds Office, if it was signed in Durban then it will be registered at the Pietermaritzburg Deeds Office.
We can order an electronic copy and deliver it to your email address. All we need is the names of the parties, ID Numbers and place where the contract was signed. If the contract was signed in Gauteng, we will generally search both the Pretoria and Johannesburg Deeds Office due to overlapping areas.
Please note that some Deeds Office are expriencing delays at specific times. The turmaround time is an indication of how long 90% of document requests take.
