No. DeedsOffice.Online has a live link into the Deeds Office, so you can run a search or order a document without a DeedsWeb account, an application or a minimum balance. You pay per search.
DeedsWeb makes sense if you run searches continuously - a conveyancing practice, for example - and can justify the account setup and pre-funding. For occasional searches, a single property lookup, or when you need a copy of a title deed or marriage contract delivered to you, our per-search service is faster to get started with.
DeedsWeb is the online interface to the deeds registry data. The register itself is the underlying record maintained across the 11 deeds offices. Both return the same registered information.
