You have a few options to find out who owns a property in South Africa. You can either go the Deeds Office in question (i.e. if a property is in Pretoria, you need to go to the Pretoria Deeds Office, if a property is in George or Mossel Bay, you need to go to the Cape Town Deeds Office in the city centre of Cape Town), you can register with deedsweb, provide some supporting documentation and pay the registration fee or you can use our services to get the information required.
We do not charge a registration fee, we only charge for the searches you make. Payment can be made with a bank transfer (EFT) or credit card and the search results are delivered to your inbox.
No need to physically go to the Deeds Office or leave your home or office. All you need is the property information.
