Get Deeds Registry Information

The Deeds Office is responsible for the registration, management and maintenance of the property registry of South Africa. It also keeps copies of Marriage Contracts (Antenuptial Contracts).

The following information is available from the Deeds Office:

  • The registered owner of a property;
  • Conditions or restrictions for a propert;
  • Interdicts and contracts in relation to the property;
  • Purchase price of the property (if captured on the Deeds Office system);
  • Rules of a sectional title scheme;
  • Copies of an antenuptial contracts (ANC), deeds of servitudes, mortgage bonds, etc; and
  • Copies of a sectional title plan or the rules of a Sectional
